Two ways to read the same amateurs

Scratch Players ranks the top amateurs by tournament scoring average: total strokes divided by rounds over the past 12 months. A four-round week counts twice a two-round missed cut. Eight rounds are required before a name is numbered.

The World Amateur Golf Ranking place is not a second list on the homepage. Open the player. Their published place is there, next to the season of starts, and next to a photo or a bio when one was published.

The file is pulled again from public leaderboards each week. A round stays until the Monday it turns a year old, then it leaves the average on its own.
