Entry Fee & Inclusions

 

 

The entry fee is $200 and must accompany the completed entry for all exempt players.
The qualifier entry fee is a non-refundable $20 with a balance due on 8/9 of $180 if such entrant qualifies.

 

The entry fee for players in the SPC field includes:
 · crystal trophy to the Champion, Runner Up & Third place

 · crystal trophy to the low Mid-Amateur
 ·
Player Program & contestant merchandise gifts (tee prizes provided at Player Registration)

 · merchandise prizes to the top 15 and ties

 · carts & drivers/markers for each final round twosome electing to take a cart

 · all green fees for tournament play (4 rounds if make both cuts)

 · "Member/Am" practice round green fees on Monday, August 13th

 · practice round green fees on Sunday, August 12th (at discretion of club contingent on tee time availability) 

 · reduced caddie fees for those electing to retain one ($20 plus tip per round retained)

 

 

 

 · complimentary airport and accommodation shuttle service (free; private vans, SUV's & auto's)

 · "Hospitality Reception" libations & hors d'oeuvres on Monday

 · "Member/Am" Dinner at the Somerby clubhouse dining room on Monday

 · "Contenders" Dinner at the Somerby clubhouse dining room on Wednesday

 · "Welcome Bash" party/reception on Sunday night, August 12th

 · buffet breakfast at Somerby for remaining contestants each day of the Championship

 · buffet lunch at Somerby for remaining contestants each day of the Championship

 · on-course snacks and beverage each round of the Championship and the "Member/Am" practice round

 · SPC "Players Hospitality Suite" (at Tournament Housing Site) with complimentary beverages & snacks

Entry Deadline & Withdrawals

 

 

All entries received by the entry deadline (or until the field is full) are subject to acceptance by the Tournament Committee (TC).  The first 79 exempt entries received are assured a place in the SPC if otherwise accepted by the TC.  Players withdrawing subsequent to entry must notify the TC promptly as withdrawals after the entry deadline incur a $50 withdrawal refund processing fee and after 8/3 incur a $100 withdrawal refund fee.  

Withdrawing contestants after 8/7 will forfeit their entry fee.

Promptly notify the TC of withdrawals at 415.614.0322 (ph/fax) or via email at SPC@scratchplayers.org.  Entry fee checks are deposited no later than the applicable deadline date for all entrants accepted into the Championship field (all other entrant checks are returned by 8/31).  All entrants accepted into the Championship who subsequently withdraw will receive their applicable net refund amount by 8/31.
